WOBURN SANDS BAND
The Woburn Sands Band exists to provide a focal point for brass band music in the Milton Keynes area. The Band provides the facility, for those interested, to learn to play a brass band instrument. There are currently over 100 members of the Band, playing in 4 different band groups. We welcome applications to join the Band, from absolute beginners as well as from players with experience. Experienced brass band players will always be welcomed, but our membership, lessons for beginners, instruments, and uniforms are all provided – free of charge - for those who wish to join us. The photograph below shows the 'A' Band Trombone section, and was taken at the 44th concert in the Drakeloe Series at The Stables Theatre, Wavendon, in October 2009. |
