Thank you for your interest – we trust you will enjoy our performances whenever you hear them.
This list is as complete as I can make it on the date of issue, but changes and additions will still arrive:
Key to abbreviations: * = provisional; (A) = A band, (B) = B Band, etc. TBC = To Be Confirmed; WS= Woburn Sands!
(Please remember: Playing Times are given in this list.
Finish times for concerts are often ‘best guesses’ only.)
N.B. Most of our concerts are open to friends and family, and we encourage everyone to support these events.
There are many more concerts than those given here, but the others are for private functions.
If you are not sure whether friends and family can attend a particular event, ask our Secretary, please.
We do not always sell the tickets for our concerts, but we should be able to put you in touch with the organisers.
Sun 15 Apr: WS Town Council Centenary: service, parade & concert.1- 4pm (ALL groups)
Sat 28 Apr: Drakeloe 39. Stables theatre, Wavendon. PLEASE support our flagship series of concerts? (A Band Plays)
Sat 19 May: Coffee and Cakes Fundraising Morning, Memorial Hall. Starts at 10.00. [Ensembles playing]
Sat 09 Jun: Whaddon Fete. Play 2-4.30 (Time TBC) (B)
Sun 10 Jun: Flaxbourne Farm (Aspley Guise) event in aid of National Gardens Scheme. Starts 10 am, Band plays in afternoon.
Sat 16 Jun: Stoke Hammond Fete Play 2-4pm (Time TBC) (B)
Sun 17 Jun: L. Buzzard Bandstand, play 3-5. (A)
Fri 22 Jun: Mowbray Series 2007: Concert for our funds on Mowbray Green. Play 7.30-9.30 (B)(C)
Sat 23 Jun: Music@Maulden church: outdoor concert (not a service) Play 7-9.15 approx. (A) NOTE CHANGE OF DATE.
Sat 30 Jun: PICNIC PRAISE IV. Hillgreen Fm, Bourne End, Cranfield. Play 7.30. In aid of Street Children charities.
Sun 01 Jul: ‘Churches Together’ (Outdoor) Barbecue Picnic, Sandpit, Sandy Lane (in the woods) 12.30 – 4 approx (B)
Sun 08 Jul: Flaxbourne Open Gardens 1 (for charities). Play 2-5pm. (A)
Sat 21 Jul: Burlington Hall Fete. Play 2-4 approx. (A)
Sun 12 Aug: Flaxbourne Open Gardens 2 (for charities). Play 2-5pm. (A)
Mon 27 Aug: ANNUAL BAND FAYRE. Mowbray Green, W Sands (opp. Library) Opens at 2 pm FREE admission (A)
Sun 09 Sep: Milton Bryan open air church service. Play 6-7.15 pm (A)
Sun 07 Oct: Harlington Church Harvest Festival. Play 6-7pm, (B)
Sun 11 Nov: Remembrance Parade. Meet at St Michael’s church 9.25 for service, then parade (A) (Ends 11.45 appr)
Sun 11 Nov: Remembrance Service, Bow Brickhill. (Ensemble from A Band)
Sat 17 Nov: Celebratory DRAKELOE 40 at the Stables theatre, Wavendon. Reserve this date now please!
Sun 25 Nov: WS Christmas Lights Event. Play from 2pm. (A)
Sat 01 Dec: Christmas Favourites V. Stantonbury Campus Theatre. Play 7.30 (A) NOTE CHANGE OF DATE AND VENUE
